MU President Visits Injured Palestinians at Minia University Hospital
Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, Minia University President, paid a visit to Minia University Hospital to check on the services provided to the Palestinians who were injured by Israel’s aggression on the Gaza Strip. He stated that the hospital received around 14 injures of Palestinian patients and 19 of their companions.

During his visit, he was accompanied by Dean of Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Hosssam Shawky, Executive Director of University Hospitals Prof. Dr. Ayman Hasaneen, and Director of Emergency Hospitals Prof. Dr. Tarek Abd EL-Moneom, and a number of medical and nursing staff.

The significant move comes in response to directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, who ordered providing due health support to the wounded Palestinian brothers coming from Gaza and of implementing a previously prepared plan to deal with the repercussions of the developments in the Gaza Strip, which included raising the level of readiness at hospitals as well as providing trained medical staff, and due medicines, and other medical supplies.
