Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, Minia University President, participated in the commencement ceremony of the Egyptian Universities Youth Week in its thirteenth edition at Helwan University which is scheduled to be held from 8 to 14 September 2023, under the theme "The New Republic… a Dream of Homeland". The event was organized under the auspices of H.E. Prof. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth & Sports.

Prof. Dr. Farahat was keen to meet the university delegation participating in the events to engorge and urge them to have good sportsmanship and honest competition throughout the week's events, commending the efforts of the student welfare management in honing the skills of students and its role in promoting the student activities as well as supporting the participation of students in various contests.
