MU Launches a Medical Convoy to Koam El-Hasel Village, Minia Governorate

Minia University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth & Sport, launched a convoy to the people of Koam El-Hasel village of Maghagha, within the framework of the presidential initiative "Decent Life" that targets the most underprivileged villages and provides a decent life with sustainable development for the group most in need in the governorates of Egypt.

Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, Minia University President, praised the fruitful cooperation between the university and the ministry in the community service and environmental development sector, pointing out that the convoy included a group of doctors of excellence in various medical majors, and a team from faculties of Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture and Physical Education.

The convoy examined 635 cases and provided free treatment. The convoy also held healthy awareness symposiums on "Addiction" and launched a campaign to protect the environment and prevent dumping water into waterways.
