Minia University President Inspects Modern Art Museum and Proposed “Civilization Museum” to Create an Integrated Arts and History Complex.

As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations marking fifty years of achievements, Minia University is preparing a “Civilization and History Museum” at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels. The museum will document the rich heritage of Minia Governorate, home to nearly one-third of Egypt’s antiquities, including Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Coptic, and Islamic artifacts.

The project aims to provide an educational and cultural platform for students and the community, offering practical training for students in tourism, archaeology, and fine arts, while supporting cultural tourism in the region. University President Dr. Essam Farhat highlighted that the museum will raise national awareness, foster a sense of belonging, and link academic study with practical experience.
