The Sixth Joint Call of “German-Egyptian Research Fund (GERF)”
The Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) announces the Sixth joint call of “German-Egyptian Research Fund” (GERF).
Funding for the Egyptian partner involves the award of: - A maximum of EUR 300,000 as a rule, for a period of up to 24 months (funding phase 1) in case of participation of an industrial partner, and a maximum of EUR 150,000 in case of non-inclusion of an industrial partner as well as – a maximum of up to EUR 450,000 as a rule, for further funding (funding phase 2) over a period usually of up to 18 months.
No Egyptian partner may apply for more than 75% of the overall Egyptian share in case of involvement of an industrial partner.
Deadline for applications is 16.12.2024
