Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, Minia University President, welcomed Prof. Dr. Ali Gomaa and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Hashim in his office, on the sidelines of their visit to Minia University to discuss a doctoral thesis in the Islamic Studies department of the Faculty of Arts, Minia University. 

Noteworthy that Prof. Dr. Ali Gomaa is Professor of Juristic Methodologies at Al Azhar University, the Member of Supreme Judiciary Committee of El Azhar El Sherif, and the former Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Prof. Dr. Abu Hashim is former Vice President of Al-Azhar University and Currently a Member of Parliament.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Farahat handed the university's shield to them in recognition of their scientific and religious efforts.
