Faculty of Tourism & Hotels, under the auspices of Minia University President Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat and Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Samah Abd El-Rahman, organized a one-day conference for youth researchers of postgraduates, entitled " the sustainable tourism, development prospects for the future", within the framework of developing the sustainable development and urging the scientific publication.

The conference was inaugurated by Faculty Dean, in the presence of the Vice Dean for postgraduate affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Antar, Assistant Professor of the tourism studies department Prof. Dr. Asmaa Abd EL-Raouf Khalaf, and a number of academic staff, researchers, and postgraduate students.

The conference shed light on the state's achievements in establishing smart cities and spreading knowledge of sustainability among researchers. Furthermore, the conference included sessions for departments of tourism studies, hotel management, and tourism guidance to present ideas and visions concerning the development of the tourism sector.
