Minia University President Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El-Naby witnessed the ceremony of laying a wreath of flowers at the Unknown Soldier Memorial by Minia Governor Major General Osama El-Kady in commemoration of the 48th anniversary of October War Victory.

The celebration was attended by Deputy Governor Dr. Mohamed Abo Zied, Minia Security Director Major General Mohamed Abd El-Tawab, General Secretary of Governorate Eng. Mohamed El-Nagar, Military Advisor to Governorate Staff-Colonel Mohamed Hassan El-Kordy, Staff-Major General Yasser Abd El-Aziz, number of Representatives of Parliament and Senators, executive and security senior leaders, and war veterans .

Prof. Dr. Abd El-Naby asserted that this day represents the great sacrifices of our Armed Forces men who gave their souls and blood to write illuminated pages of honor and glory in our great history, supplicating to God Almighty to protect Egypt and its security and stability.

During the celebration, Prof. Dr. Abd El-Naby participated in the greeting to Armed Forces men of Minia Airport and expressed his pride for defenders of the homeland  that are ready to defend the nation and thwart any attempts to jeopardize the country's security and stability.
