Orphan Day Celebration in Faculty of Agriculture
During the celebration of the orphan day, which has been organized by the community service sector of faculty of agriculture in collaboration of students of "For Egypt" team and faculty’s Student Union, Minia university president has honoured 120 orphans from different Minia’s villages in order to bring joy and happiness to the children. The orphan day celebration has been held under the patronage of MU’s president Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El-Naby, the former president Prof. Dr. Gamal Abu El- Makarm, vice president for community service affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Galal, vice president for post graduate studies affairs Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Mohie El-Deen, dean of faculty of agriculture Prof. Dr. Adel Abd Allah, number of academic staff, employees and students. The event has included various activities throughout the day such as artistic shows, choir, athletic shows, poetry, free giveaways and prizes in addition to every participant children have received a meal. Prof. Dr. Abd El-Naby has pointed out that the event aims to activate the role of community participation, spread the values of tender and solidarity that all heavenly religions urge, and to activate also the role of student leadership as an example volunteer in organizing this event.
