Conversion and Restriction Transfer

The Committee of Education and Student Affairs at the faculty shows its opinion in accepting and transferring students, transferring and cessation of restriction and accepting the excuses.
. The conversion is applied by the approval of both competent faculties councils.

Second: - Rules of Conversion and Restriction Transfer from the Faculty
1. It is ought to grant the case data of those students who are wishing to convert or transfer restrictionfrom one college to another, regardless of the availability of conditions of the conversion or restrictiontransfer of the student or not and whether they are old or new.
2. The case data is sent in mail by the competent college after its adoption.
Conversion and transferring Restriction to The Faculty
A – Students of high years
The student can be converted according to the following conditions: -
* To be this conversion between corresponding faculties in the universities at the level of each university centrally.
*The student must be successful and transferred to the higher year in the faculty, from where he is converted.
*The percent of transferred students must not exceed 20% of the number of students enrolled in the required year to which he is converted and of the students who obtained the highest degree.
*To be the priority of conversion for only the students who getting the highest totals (degree / the highest percentage).
*It is forbidden to accept applications of transferring the students between corresponding colleges after passing one month of the study.
* In the case of accepting the student conversion, the academic curriculums which he did not study in his converted faculty and his colleagues had studied in college he is converted to, he remains forced to study it. Then he perform the exam in it according to the examination system in the faculty he is transferred to in relation to the failed students in it.
Conversion is a responsibility of the faculty he is converted to
B - New Students: -
1) The student may be transferred to the first year or middle from the similar faculty to another or not if the student obtained a minimum of the total scores according to the rules of the college to where he wants to transfer restriction or conversion with taking into account the availability of the qualified subjects and complementary conditions . Moreover the faculty possibilities has to allow this through the geographical distribution rules followed in this regard. (Decision of the Supreme Council of Universities of 08/14/1997, 07/30/2002)
2) The rate of transferred students should not be more than 20% in the year according to the declared public rules for each college.
3) It is not allowed to accept applications of transferring the students, after one month of starting the study.
4) Converting and transferring restriction must occur between the faculties and not among people or the departments in faculty.
C –Public Rules: -
1) The last date for receiving applications of conversion and transferring restriction is twenty days from the date of announcing the result of stage, in which is the nomination.
2) It is not allowed for transferring students to reside in university cities in the conversion year, and the acceptance of applications is allowed in the light of available places and the approval of university by getting signature of the male / female student.
3) The conversion from foreign universities and transferring restriction of students who have foreign certifications must centrally be by the knowledge of Acceptance Coordination Office in universities and institutes.
4) The decisions of Universities Supreme Council are applied in the case of its issuing decisions, violates the rules.
