MU President Inspects the University Triple Hospital
Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, Minia University President, recently inspected the university's accredited triple hospital as part of preparations for its integration into the Universal Health Insurance System. The tour aimed to follow up on the hospital's readiness to deliver high-quality medical and therapeutic services.
This initiative aligns with the university's goal to expand specialized medical services and contribute to healthcare system improvements in Minia Governorate.
Prof. Dr. Farahat inspected the reception and emergency departments, the outpatient clinic building housing various specialties, and the primary healthcare unit for family medicine. This unit, crucial for the comprehensive health insurance system, offers medical exams, regular follow-ups, laboratory tests, and preventive care for families.
During the visit, he was accompanied by Vice President for Community Service and CEO of University Hospitals Prof. Dr. Ayman Hassanein, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies Prof. Dr. Hossam Shawky, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ehab Refaat, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nadi Al-Shweikh, Engineering Advisor to President Prof. Dr. Mostafa Ashry, and key medical and administrative staff.
He emphasized that the recent comprehensive developments in university hospitals reflect the institution's commitment to supporting the state’s initiative for an integrated healthcare system that ensures equitable access to quality medical services for all citizens.
