Minia University President, Prof.Dr. Essam Farahat, participated—alongside Prof. Hossam Ramadan, Director of International Relations—in the Asia-Pacific Higher Education Summit held at Korea University in Seoul from 4–6 November 2025, under the theme “Empowering Generations: Skills and Partnership in Asia and the Pacific.”
The summit brought together leading universities and higher education policymakers from across the region. Minia University's participation, supported by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, marks an important step toward strengthening its international presence.
The university delegation held productive meetings with institutions from South Korea, Australia, China, Malaysia, and several Arab countries, exploring opportunities for academic cooperation, student and research exchange, and joint projects.
Dr. Farahat emphasized that this participation enhances the university’s global visibility and contributes to improving its international ranking. Dr. Ramadan added that these meetings pave the way for new partnerships that support the university’s strategy for excellence and global engagement.
