Prof. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farhat, President of Minia University, chaired the Master’s thesis committee of researcher Daniel Medhat in Mineralogy and Geochemistry at the Faculty of Science.

The thesis focused on studying the origin of rocks and mineralization in the Gabal El-Bakriya complex in Egypt’s Eastern Desert.
The committee praised the scientific quality of the thesis and its contribution to geological studies and economically important minerals, particularly rare earth elements.

The University President emphasized Minia University’s commitment to supporting advanced applied research that contributes to sustainable development and the optimal utilization of natural resources in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
