MU Launches Medical Convoy to ATEF HEDAR Village

In light of the Minia University (MU)'s plan for community service and environmental development, (MU) launched a medical convoy to Atef Hedar village in EL-Edwa center, Minia Governorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sport and under the supervision of the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Osama El-Menshawy who is the general coordinator of the university's convoys, and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Aml Kamal, and a group of students from faculty of physical education participated in organizing the convoy activities.

It is noteworthy that MU has adopted launching several medical convoys periodically to support the most needed families, enhance the citizen's health, and increase the awareness of the people, within the framework of attaining sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The convoy included a group of doctors in various medical majors and examined 465 cases, and provided a free-of-charge treatment, as well as holding symposiums, in addition to a veterinary examination.
