MU President inspects the experimental electronic exams for nursing students

Prof.Dr. Mustafa Abd El-Nabi Minia University President, accompanied by Prof.Dr. Essam Farhat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, inspected the experimental electronic exams for students of the third and fourth years at the Faculty of Nursing in the health sector in preparation for the official application of electronic exams at the end of the first term.

Prof.Dr. Mustafa Abd El-Nabi was accompanied during his inspection visit by Prof.Dr. Azza Hafez, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof.Dr. Hossam Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof.Dr. Mohammed Abd El- Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof.Dr. Walid Makram, Executive Director of Information at the University, Prof. Ahmed Samir Abd El Malik, Director of the Electronic Test Center, and Prof. Mustafa Khalil Deputy Director of the Center, and Prof. Bassem Abd el Hakim, Secretary General of the University .

university president explained that the aim of the these exams is to spread the culture of electronic tests among students and faculty staff, after making the necessary trainings for the work teams, and introducing students to the system of electronic questions and the steps taken within the application, until the end of the electronic test  .

 He added that the efficiency of the electronic exams was developed and raised for  the six halls assigned to the Electronic Test Center, which includes 1081 computers, linking to the servers of the Egyptian universities network, and introducing question banks .

On his part, Prof.Dr. Essam Farhat said that electronic exams  avoids all mistakes  of the traditional exams , by reducing human interference in the testing process, starting with putting  exam questions and linking them to the desired goals of educational outcomes with questions that meet international standards, and ending with correction and announcing the results immediately after the exams.
