MU’s President participates in the 17th Arab Ministers Conference

Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El-Naby, Minia University President, participated in the two-day Arab Ministers for Higher Education Conference taking place in Egypt from December 24th to 25th under the patronage of Egypt’s President Abd El-Fattah El Sisi, with the aim of exchange Arab experiences in the field of higher education and scientific research and discuss challenges facing higher education and find means of solving them, as well as identifying future plans for higher education expectations.

The conference was convened under the title of ‘Artificial Intelligence and Education: Challenges and Expectations’, inaugurated by the Egyptian Minister for Higher Education Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar in the presence of General Director of Alesco Mohamed Ould Omar , several Ministers for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and number of Universities’ presidents

Minister Dr. Khaled Abd El Ghaffar said that the conference aims to discuss issues pertaining to the Arab experiences in the fields of higher education and scientific research and challenges facing higher education with finding means of solving them.

It is worth mention that the conference sessions addressed several topics such as artificial intelligence, scientific research policies and the ethics of artificial intelligence within the framework of the fourth industrial revolution, and the unified Arab index for the ranking of universities in addition to set out recommendations in developing techniques of higher education system and scientific research.
