MU Students visit the Grand Egyptian Museum

More than 45 students paid a visit to the grand Egyptian museum from various faculties, particularly faculty of tourism & hotels, with the aim to increase awareness of students to our cultural and historical heritage in addition to promote their knowledge towards the national projects attained in Egypt, as this museum considers a present from Egypt to the whole world.

The museum contains more than 100.000 artefacts, as well designed to receive about 5 million visitors annually

It is worth mentioning that the museum is described one of the largest museums in the entire world, locating on approximately 500,000 square meters nearby the Giza Pyramids with unparalleled green areas

The visit, under the patronage of Minia University president Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El-Naby, was organized by the student union management of university’s general management of student welfare in cooperation with university’s military education management.
