Minia University participated in celebration of the International Literacy Day 2019 which was organized by the Adult Education Authority at Ain Shams University under the auspices of Minister of education & technical education Prof. Dr. Tarek Shawky, as the world celebrates this day to remind the public of the importance of literacy for individual and society in addition to promote the efforts to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society.

Prof. Dr. Balegh Hamdy, professor of curriculum & teaching methods department and the general coordinator of university literacy project, presented Minia university experiment, efforts, services to Minia governorate sons, in cooperation with adult education authority , pointing out recently “ Hehia” village was targeted , one of the most needy village to education and various services,
