Minia university council, in a meeting headed by prof.Maher
Gaber; president of the university, has discussed a report about the Girls week
which was inaugurated the last Saturday by Prof.Hani Helal with participation of
3000 girls students from 18 universities in addition to the Higher-Institutes. The
President of Minia University in the council has mentioned towards praising of the
minister of Higher Education about the inauguration celebration and the sport &
artistic shows which were presented by students of faculty of Physical Education,
the matter that assuring on efficiency of the upper-Egyptian girl in general, and
upper-Egyptian girl of university in particular and her capacity to participate
actively on all levels

Today, activities of the universities second week have
been concluded for girls which have been hosted by Minia University during a period
of time form 20-25 Feb. with participation of 3000 girls students from 18 universities
in addition the higher-institutions of the Higher Education university.
In the evening
of yesterday; in the final celebration, Minia University announced results of all
competitions, like (sports, technical, cultural and social) champions and Jawala.
Prof.Maher Gaber, president of Minia University honored and gave champion cups,
Key Rings for the winner universities of the first rank, also , he honored vice-presidents
of other universities and heads of the participant delegates in the universities
second week.

In the morning of yesterday, in a youth national celebration,
prof.hany helal, minister of Higher Education and scientific search, has inaugurated
activities of the second week for girls of all Egyptian universities, which is hosted
by Minia university during the period of time from 20-25 February with participation
of three thousands girls who present 18 universities and higher institutions of
Ministry of Higher Education. |

| In the honoring context of Minia University for the
national team of football, prof.Maher Gaber, president of Minia University is going
to honor Hamada sidkey, assistant-coach of the national football team and son of
Minia, on the sidelines of the second week which is inaugurated by dr.Hany Helal,
Minister of Higher Education for scientific search, in the next Saturday. It would
be Hamada sidkey who would light flame of inauguration's torch of the week.

search, is going to inaugurate the second universities week for girls in the next
Saturday 20/2 which is organized by Minia university as hosting during the period
of time from 20 to 25 February three thousands female students who are Prof.Maher
Gaber, president of Minia University, has declared that choosing of Minia University
to be the organizer of the second universities week for girls, is considered an
honor and a great appreciation for its rank and its previously successful experience
in arranging the fifth universities week for youth which was honored by presence
of mrs.Suzan Mubark in February 2001.

Trips and entertainment tours of the
universities week for girls
|
 |
|
The university, through activities of the second
week for girls, is organizing daily tours& entertainment trips to visit the
archeological places of Minia city, like Tona-Elgabl& Ashmounin and other sailing
trips towards Bani-Hassan. There are 200 female students would daily participate
in visiting the archeological sites and visiting places of the tourist attractions.
Places of the movement point for buses would be in front of the central restaurant
inside the university campus, exactly at 8.50 a.m.

of the student activity day. President of university has inaugurated the charitable
market of clothes.

Minia university council at a meeting with the
Prof.Maher Gaber president of University, has discussed a special arrangements and
preparations for exams of first semester which will start in the next 23 January
till 4 February as three days weekly for each classroom. The council has approved
on starting the oral and practical exams on 16 January to begin the mid-term holiday
on 6 Feb,the second term will be resumed on 20 Feb.
