The Faculty of Dentistry, Minia University was founded by the presidential decree no: 419 dated 27/12/1995 The council of Minia University grant on request of the following academic degrees & diplomes:
- Bachelor degree of Oral Medicine & Surgery B.D.S.
- Master Degree of Oral Medicine & Surgery M.D.S.
- Doctor degree of Philosophy in basic sciences in Dentistry Ph.D .
- Doctor of dental science in the clinical science D.D.Sc.
- Diplome of oral & dental medicine Dipl. D.
